If you are a North Penn student and you are interested in going on a field trip with North Penn SADD to Washington, DC, let me know as soon as possible!
The trip is on April 21st, 2006 and you will be missing a full day of school, starting at 6:30 AM until 8:30 PM. Transportation will be provided by deluxe motor coach transpotation: minimum 30 passengers, maximum 47. The whole day will cost $77, but if enough people sign up, the price will be lowered to $50. The fee is due by March 6th, 2006. The fee is NON-REFUNDABLE after this date. Cash is accepted. Checks should be made payable to North Penn High School and can either be personally given to me, Zach Hinkle, in E-126 or to Mrs. Wilson in K-108.
If you would like a memo giving information on the trip, just let me know. Sites included but not limited to during the trip are National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Castile, National Gallery of Art, National Air and Space Museum, United Holocaust Museum, Department of Justice, FBI Building, and the White House.
The schedule:
6:30 AM Buses depart high school
9:30 AM Two-hour bus tour in DC including Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Senate Office Builting, and the JFK Memorial at Arlington Cemetary
NOON Drop off at Old Post Office Pavilion for lunch and exploring National Mall Area
3:45 PM Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe or Cactus Willy's Buffet (depending on interest)
5:00 Depart for home
8:30 Arrive at high school
